The first episode, “2016: The Comeback,” looks back at Michelin’s return to MotoGP and the considerable challenge of changing the championship’s sole tyre supplier at the highest level of motorcycle racing. Watch episode one here.
The series does not seek to tell a story shaped solely by success. The second episode, “Regain Trust,” shows how dealing with setbacks and challenges helped strengthen the trust between Michelin, the riders and the teams. Watch episode two here.
With “Listen to the Bike,” the third episode opens on a wet track in precarious grip conditions before exploring the sensations and feedback experienced by the rider. The episode highlights a development process built around continuous dialogue between riders, engineers, teams and Michelin technicians. Official release October 15.
The fourth episode, “Breaking Point,” focuses on the 2020 and 2021 seasons, which marked a turning point in MotoGP. The pandemic, Marc Márquez’s injury and the emergence of a new generation of riders reshaped the competitive order. This period of transition came to a symbolic close with Valentino Rossi’s farewell after more than two decades at the highest level of the sport. Official release October 22.
In the fifth episode, “A New Era,” MotoGP enters a new chapter, with increasingly high-performance motorcycles and a new generation of riders. Michelin supports this evolution by continuously advancing its tyres to push the boundaries of performance even further. Official release October 29.
Finally, the “Final Sprint” episode brings the series to a close by looking back on eleven seasons during which Michelin supported MotoGP’s profound technological evolution, while celebrating an exceptional human adventure. Official release November 5.
Across the six films, a story gradually emerges in which technology is ever-present, but trust remains the true common thread: trust between riders and their tyres, between engineers and teams, and, above all, between people working together and facing the extreme demands of competition.
