With over 240,000 reviews covering more than 150 million miles of real-world driving, DriverReviews collated a vast amount of data encompassing the views and experiences from drivers over the past 12 months.

The DriverReviews Customer Choice Awards aim provide consumers with an unbiased and authentic assessment of the best tyres available, drawn upon from real-world reviews.

Michelin also secured wins in the ’Best All Season Tyres‘ and ’Best All Season SUV Tyre’s categories, with the MICHELIN CrossClimate 2 and MICHELIN CrossClimate SUV surpassing other comparable offerings.

The categories cover the most popular vehicle segments in the UK, including Family Car; Large Family Car; Medium & Large SUVs; Small SUVs; City Car; Hot Hatches; High Performance Cars; All Season; and All Season SUV. Each category consists of a ‘winner’ and a ‘highly recommended’ award.

Michael Meredith, Customer Marketing Manager at Michelin UK, said: “With such a wide-ranging and robust approach to the selection process, we take great pride in winning four categories and achieving very high praise in two others.

“The level of ambition of the new awards is commendable in itself – they are highly rigorous and customer-centric so to achieve such ringing endorsement for our high performance, all-season, family and SUV-specific tyre ranges is valuable recognition.”

As well as scooping four wins, the MICHELIN Primacy 4 gained a Highly Recommended badge in the ’Best Tyres for Family Cars‘ category, while the MICHELIN Latitude Sport 3 was Commended in the ’Best Tyres for Medium & Large SUVs‘ grouping.

Adam Butcher, Head of Product at DriverReviews, said: “For many shoppers, the tyre buying experience is not a simple one, it is a complicated purchase and that is why DriverReviews partner with multiple tyre retailers and tyre manufacturers to generate 100 per cent authentic tyre reviews to help consumers make an informed choice.

“Michelin has produced an outstanding performance in our debut awards, which shows exactly why it is at the cutting edge of the tyre business. Not only does Michelin offer a wide breadth of choice to suit almost any vehicle, its tyres also produce consistently high ratings from customers.”
