The MICHELIN Guide Great Britain and Ireland will digitally present its new restaurant selection on February 15th and 16th
On February 15th and 16th at 10am UK time, the MICHELIN Guide will present the new MICHELIN Stars, Green Stars and Special Awards for Great Britain and Ireland.
Due to the on-going pandemic, this year’s presentation will be held in a digital format only. This decision has been taken in consideration of the wellbeing, safety and convenience of chefs, restaurateurs and Michelin teams.
All the news will be announced through exclusive content – including editorial articles, Instagram stories and posts - to be published on the international Instagram account of the MICHELIN Guide (@michelinguide), its Twitter account as well as its global website guidemichelin.com.
Detailed information on the timings:
- Tuesday 15th February, 10am UK time, The Special Awards – Chef-mentor, Young chef, Service, Sommelier, Newcomer – will be announced.
- Wednesday 16th February, 10am UK time – The new MICHELIN Stars – One, Two and Three Stars – will be revealed, along with the new MICHELIN Green Stars. A full Press Release on all the additions of Stars will also be published and shared with the media on this date.
- Thursday 17th February – exclusive Interview with a newly awarded chef will be posted on our social platforms.
Naturally we are disappointed that we are unable to host this event in person, as we know how much everyone enjoys these occasions. However, we can promise you that these days will be full of exciting news, as we have many wonderful new awards to reveal.
Ahead of the Star presentation, the new Bib Gourmand restaurants joining the 2022 selection will be announced on the MICHELIN Guide website on Friday 11th February, at 10am UK time. A dedicated Press Release will also be shared with the media on this date.
The full 2022 Guide will be published n a digital format only on 16th February, both on the website and app for both UK and Ireland.
