Tanguy Léon-Pflieger appointed new Head of Passenger Cars at Michelin Europe North
Tanguy Léon-Pflieger has been appointed the new Vice President for B2C Sales of Michelin Europe North region as of 1 July 2025. He succeeds Agostino Mazzocchi, who is moving to Michelin Italy as President and CEO.
In his new role, Léon-Pflieger will be responsible for the Cars, Motorcycle and Bicycle business divisions for the German, Austrian, Swiss, UK, Irish and Scandinavian markets. He will be responsible for managing sales in the region together with the international teams. Léon-Pflieger reports directly to Maria Röttger, President and CEO of Michelin Europe North. He has been Managing Director of Michelin Suisse SA since 2023 and has been working for the mobility company since 2017. Prior to this, he had worked at Michelin in several roles in sales and the supply chain in Germany, East Africa and at the Group headquarters in Clermont-Ferrand.

My personal ambition for this new role is to further strengthen the relationship with our customers, demonstrate the leading quality of our products even more and grow our market share in the premium segment.
Pellegrino Luongo will take over the position of Managing Director of Michelin Suisse SA in the future. In his previous role, Luongo has been managing the B2C business in Switzerland as Regional Sales Manager since 2018. Prior to that, he worked in various positions at Euromaster for many years.
