Michelin has unveiled its latest trail tyre, the MICHELIN Anakee Adventure 2, a new-generation of trail tyre designed for riders who spend most of their time on the road but want genuine off-road capability and freedom to explore.
The Anakee Adventure 2 becomes the flagship product in the Michelin trail range, combining comfort, safety, and performance, offering riders versatility and freedom when exploring to extend their adventure off-road.
The key performance gains compared with the previous generation Anakee Adventure tyre include:
• Improved wet grip through new silica-based compounds
• Increased mileage1: +7% at the front, +21% at the rear
• Reduced perceived noise for a quieter, less fatiguing ride2
• Optimised tread pattern with M+S marking for dependable off-road traction
For decades, Michelin has supported riders who see the road as just the beginning. The MICHELIN Anakee Adventure 2 builds on this heritage, drawing on our experience in trail riding to deliver a tyre that combines modern performance with the confidence and durability riders have trusted from Michelin for generations.
The new Anakee Adventure 2 tyre has been engineered to reduce noise, improve stability and build rider confidence across a wide range of conditions, thanks to innovative Michelin technology. Michelin’s cutting-edge two-compound technology enhances durability in the centre of the tyre and provides maximum grip on the shoulders. The new tyre also features Reinforced Radial-X Evo & Aramid Shield for stability, comfort and resistance on all terrains, a new tread design for balance between road comfort and traction on loose surfaces and a premium visual design on the sidewalls.
This launch underlines Michelin’s strategic push into the fast-growing trail segment, which is now one of the most influential in the motorcycle market and accounts for around 20% of Michelin’s leisure tyre sales. As trail motorcycles continue to redefine the market and are no longer defined by off-road performance alone, the MICHELIN Anakee Adventure 2 reflects how riders use them: daily commuting, long-distance touring and spontaneous adventures.
Available worldwide from January 2026, the Anakee Adventure 2 will be suitable for most major motorcycles in the segment and joins the MICHELIN Road 6, MICHELIN Anakee Road and MICHELIN Anakee Wild trail tyre lineup.
The MICHELIN Anakee Adventure 2 will be available through Michelin’s authorised dealer network and distributor orders opened at the end of 2025 to support availability at the start of the European riding season.
