The “master” in all season tyres for SUV1
In May, Michelin is launching the MICHELIN CrossClimate2 SUV tyre in the UK and across Europe.
A new generation of all season tyres that combine multiple performances, the MICHELIN CrossClimate2 SUV tyre allows you to contend with the majority of weather conditions, no matter the season. A 3PMSF (3 Peak Mountain Snow Flake) certified tyre, it copes with drops in temperature and occasional snowfall.
The leader for braking on snow, and on dry and wet ground, as well as for traction on snow1
The MICHELIN CrossClimate2 SUV tyre benefits from a combination of cutting-edge innovations such as the MICHELIN EverGrip technologies that help optimise braking on dry, wet, or snow-covered ground.
In testing, MICHELIN CrossClimate2 SUV is the leading all season tyre for braking on:
- snow2, stopping shorter by an average of 5 metres (new tyres);
- wet ground3, stopping shorter by an average of 2 metres (tyres at the legal wear limit);
- and dry ground3.
Compared to its competitors, it recorded a gain of almost 20% in traction5 on snow.
The MICHELIN CrossClimate2 SUV tyre is homologated for winter use and consequently benefits from the 3PMSF mark.
The leader in terms of longevity, without sacrificing safety1: performance made to last right up to the legal wear limit.
Thanks to the MaxTouch Construction technology, the MICHELIN CrossClimate2 SUV tyre allows for driving an additional6 3,100 miles on average, compared to premium competitor tyres, while maintaining a high level of safety, even when the tyre is at legal tread wear limit2,3,4, and regardless of the weather conditions.
As of May 1, the MICHELIN CrossClimate2 SUV tyre will be available in 40 dimensions from 17 to 20 inches.
