Michelin will headline sponsor the ACU British Enduro Championship next year, and as such the event will be known as the 2019 ACU Michelin British Enduro Championship.

Partnering with the ACU Trials and Enduro committee, Michelin is ready to build on the success of this established series and to support british enduro racing. The sponsorship will bring additional logistics and facilities to enhance the consistency and raise the profile of the championship.

Since the year 2000, Michelin has won over 40 enduro world titles in the sport’s different classes and remains a world leader in the development of enduro tyres at the highest level. 2018 saw the Michelin Enduro Medium tyre take the top spot in all classes at the British Championship and it is widely regarded as the tyre of choice for professional and amateur riders alike.

Andy James, Michelin’s Two Wheel Operational Marketing Manager, said: “We’re delighted to be on board for the 2019 Championship. This is a chance to show our dedication to British Enduro racing and our commitment to providing the best enduro riding experience through the development of our world-leading off-road tyres and support of one of the most prestigious race series in the country.”Dusty Martin, ACU Trials & Enduro Committee Member commented: “We are delighted to have Michelin on board as title sponsor for next year’s championship. Michelin is a manufacturer held in high regard by the enduro world and they have a long history with our sport.
