More than 300 coach and bus accidents in Great Britain last year were caused by snow or ice, latest Government statistics have revealed. A total of 317 reported bus and coach accidents noted snow or ice as the main factor behind the accident, according to Department for Transport statistics.

Almost 600 accidents involving heavy goods vehicles (HGV) in Great Britain last year were due to snow or ice, latest Government statistics have revealed. A total of 338 rigid HGV accidents were attributed to snow or ice on the roads, while 230 articulated HGVs were involved in accidents under similar conditions.

In the latest edition of the MICHELIN guide – the MICHELIN guide New York City 2012 – Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare and Eleven Madison Park have joined five other New York restaurants at the Michelin three-star level, the highest recognition in the culinary world. In addition, 9 restaurants have achieved two Michelin stars – including new restaurants L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon and SHO Shaun Hergatt. 46 restaurants earned one Michelin star.
